Saving your progress.
Is there any way to do so while in the dungeon (like if you need to go to sleep)? What about in the Hub?

Hi bahamutprincess!

Sadly currently no :steamsad: . It is a feature I'm currently working on and will be available in the next bigger update. Can't promise an exact date, because it is a more complicated feature to add, but I guess in a few weeks in v1.2.0 it will be added to the game :steamhappy:.

I know it would be a good feature, suspending the game any time and continuing later would allow to play the game in really really short breaks even if you are progressing (and not dying :steammocking:) and it was requested before multiple times, but due to its complexity I focused on other features & content.

Thanks for your understanding and for your patience. I will do my best the deliver this update as soon as possible.

So, is the only way to save any progress is when entering your name in the Hall of Fame thing? Or does the game automatically save the progress of any relics you find, once you safely make it back to your Hub?

Yes, you can save your statistics/results when you die or complete the game into the Hall of Fame.

The unlocks, like the Tome of Artifacts and the Book of Monsters or your achievements are saved automatically and you get notifications when you unlock an item or a monster. For unlocking items and monsters there are different requirements though.

Common items (blue and yellow) needs to be found and picked up multiple times, rare ones (green and purple) are unlocked on the first pickup.

Monsters are unlocked after a few dozen kills, depending on what dungeon level they reside in. Early monster needs more kills (you encounter them more times) and later ones need less.

Other unlocks, like the nightmare difficulty or the game modes (treasury, elite) are unlocked after a certain number of full play-throughs / boss kills. These are saved automatically and you also get a notification just like with items or monsters.

The progress of one play session can not be saved though, so after you enter the dungeon you either complete the game, die or leave/exit the game. But as I mentioned I'm working on adding a save feature here, so you can exit the game on any dungeon level after you started the run and can continue later when you start the game again :steamhappy:.

Hi :)

So, is "Leave" will save the progress of artifacts and monsters found?

It's a great game, I am loving it !

Very thanks

Hi IR Wolver,

If you leave the game currently the progress of that specific run is not saved, but if you unlocked something during that run or collected/killed something that does count towards the unlocks and it is saved :steamhappy: !

The progress towards unlocking these items (so how many times you've found an item) will be saved even if you leave to game ;) !

Same goes for monsters. Your kill count is saved even if you leave the game.

Only your current "level" & "inventory" progress is not saved yet, so you restart the run itself if you leave, but the run save feature is already half-way complete, so you can save and continue a run later after that feature is done ;) . Probably comes in the next bigger update, but no promises/deadline yet.

Thanks for the interest and I'm happy that you like the game :steamhappy:.
