Friendly fire incidents

I have killed and been killed by friendly fire too many times to keep count. For my part they have all been as a result of the confusion and stresses of war. But there have been several what I can best be described as 'executions' by real life mentally disturbed people. I was executed by someone I know had been behind me for several seconds, as I ran toward a transport truck. As I was about to enter it, he killed me as he obviously wanted it for himself. Needless to say I was not impressed. I took note of his name and went hunting him down. When I found him, I put him down with a shot to the torso in order that he could hear what I had to say to him and I what I thought of his actions and any subsequent consequences should think to do it to me again.
But, in reality, death from friendly fire is real and happens all to often. War is hell and at the end of the day its either the enemy or a friendly who will die. Just today I see a youtube video from a HLL player describing his 'most shameful team kill'. The headline made me smile. Then I thought, lets google friendly fire. Here is what I have found. Some of the stories are staggering tragedies.
