Game not working

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help me.

When I get to the main screen and click "new game", it fades to a white screen and stays like that forever.

I've trying reinstalling, changing the location, compatibility modes, I've even reinstaled Steam and also restarted the computer several times.

I don't know what to do anymore :(

Getting the same white screen issue after selecting "New Game"

Radically different configuration, but I wonder if the answer to this problem will help resolve my identical issue with this game in wine.

We just found out that Windows 10 Pro N doesn't include some media features, so you have to install them yourself.

To know which version you have to download check it here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3145500/media-feature-pack-list-for-windows-n-editions

For example: those in this thread with Windows 10 Pro N Build 17134 need to download Version 1803.

Which is why as a Linux user I join the fray and kindly asks that you would consider making a Linux version of the game.

Didn't work. I installed it, rebooted PC (had an update of windows), relaunch game, still white screen

This fix worked for me. I don't think that this is necessarily something Microsoft messed up, since ideally games should not require stuff like Windows Media player or other things that come with the Windows Media Pack. But I am glad this solved it for me. It's a very gorgeous game and a fun, peaceful experience so far.

Ok fixed after 2 installation of the pack. First time didn't have the reboot option at the end of the installation (I rebooted it but didn't work). Second time, option available and update ok ! Let's goooo

Any fix for someone on Windows 7? I've got the same problem but can't install a media pack for Windows 10.

How about folks attempting to play over "SteamPlay" via Proton 3.7? I'm getting the white screen glitch here too. I was really looking forward to playing this on SteamOS!

I have the same problem but when I download the update (I figured out the right version/bit) it gives me an error saying "the update is not applicable to your computer" I just really wanna play this game bruh... ;-;

Ok, I updated my video driver (Nvidia 1070) to the latest version of 430.86 and the game now works.

Since there is no version for my OS, I launch it through a proton. I see the main screen, I start a new game and all I watch is a white screen. Can you help with this somehow?
