Cocaine - Costs quite bit at the cartel but profits are enormous, especially if you cut it with something. Safe purity for me is 80% remaining 20% can be anything you want but I recommend sugar. The purity part applies to all drugs in the game. There's also a bug that lets you make even bigger profits You can set the price to whatever you want, like couple hundred bucks per gram. People will still buy it without complaints
Heroin - Prices lower than coke but it's still very profitable. It gets clients addicted easily. Be careful though as it's also more toxic than cocaine and you are bit more likely to get ODs. If you mix it with something make sure the ingredient won't be making it more toxic. Once again I recommend sugar or at least baking soda. If you wish you can experiment with stuff but do so at your own risk
Weed - Due to quite low sale prices only sell what you grow yourself, once you unlocked this feature of course. Sure that starting a plantation is a bit of an investment (hideout, UV lamps, air filters, pots, seeds, and dryers) but that investment pretty much returns couple times over after you sell all of your first batch. And when you grow your own weed you don't need to return to cartel a single cent and you are pretty much independent if you would sell just that. And at last, if you don't feel like taking couple days to distribute a kilo or two of stuff you have made you can bring it to that guy at psychedelics hideout. But his prices are a scam lol. So yeah, weed can be profit but only with your own supply.

Amphetamine - is good for start because you can mix it and increase profits but later on it's not so much worth it. Addictiveness is rather medium and even with addict clients ordering 15G at once couple times daily it won't get you as much profit as coke or H.
It has relatively low toxicity though.
Ecstasy - It's at the cartel price of amp but max price you can set it at with max rep is same as highest for weed. I know you can mix it with something to increase profit but you need to grind the pills, mix it with whatever you wish and make the powder into pills again with pill maker. The way I see it all that trouble is not worth getting extra 20% profit for every 19 dollars per gram. It appears to have lower toxicity even than amphetamine but also slightly lower addictiveness. If I was forced to choose between X and amp I would choose amp.
Methamphetamine - Quite addictive for sure, but still not too much profit with its prices (far as I remember clean profits are similiar to amp) It's also quite toxic which means way more likely overdose than amp or ecstasy. Mixing it requires acetone, flask and a crystalizer. Also with how mixing it is done it's not exactly easy to stack all mixes as same substances in one container unless you always use literally exactly same amounts of ingredients. All that because of acethone being counted as part of the mix.
Psychedelics - They are pathetically cheap, both at cartel and street prices. Even mixing them with something isn't worth the effort. By the time you unlock them you should already have coke and H and just stick to that.
So, imo it's best to sell cut down amp and self grown weed all the way until you unlock coke and heroin. Then disable amp and focus on those two and weed.
Oh yea, forgot about the coke price bug. What I saw was that you could set it to $900 per gram (20 times base price of $45 I think) and it would have no effect on demand.
Does that bug still work? I think it has been there from the beginning but I haven't tried it in awhile.
I set my price to 90 dollars per gram and it already exceeds reputation bar and game gives me a warning but people still order like normal with no complaints at all so it should be fine if you set it at 900
One thing I don't know: Does that work for just coke or can you do it for all drugs? Anyone know?
I think it only works for coke if you sell different stuff as well.
But...
I have seen a dude on youtube try a bug he found out about from one his viewers. The guy only had weed and amp unlocked, maybe X too. So he disabled weed and X from sale and made amphetamine the only drug available to order and he set the price for it at like 900 a gram and people actually ordered it.
Long story short - you can try doing it with any drug but you should make it the only drug in your offer. Also can't tell if this only work with amp or maybe if any drug will do the trick.
Note that if you get an order, THEN change the price of your drug, the order that's placed before your change will be buying the product at the previous price, the one that was set When the order came in, so you can't set the price to 1$/gram and then change it to 900$ after getting orders.
It will take a while for orders to come in when you set the price/gram to 900$ (about 3-5 orders per day or so) but the money you'll be making will be worth it & better than selling 20 times a day for ~20$.
Else (if you want to play the game differently)
try "Random cartel drug shortage", in this, you disable/enable drugs from the cartel, so you then have to manage with what you can. (ex. stuck with selling MDMA and weed cuz coke meth etc.. is in shortage) And so if you don't want client asking for the drugs you can't get and have no stock of, you disable the drug to your client so they can order the drug you can deliver.

so my curiosity got the best of me and I started a new game. As soon as I could, I disabled weed and just sold amp...at $900 and it worked. Still got so many orders that I ran out of medium bags from the gas station to put the money in.
That is terrible...it was one thing to have such a game breaking bug at level 15 or whenever you get coke...but this is game breaking from the beginning.
I don't exactly see this game breaking. It's not like you are forced to set excessive prices and abuse this bug. You can, but you don't have to.
There are many more game breaking bugs such as the map bugs, going between sectors by jumping etc, and the bag transfer, and the worst one is the ATM money duplication exploit (free unlimited money) there are worse bugs than this but still.
This game is about a ghetto low life drug dealer wannabe that deals his way to the top & dominates his local ghetto; expands his business by renting hideouts and also distributing to the gangs to get the product into the US. But, if he's this low life drug dealer wannabe he wouldn't start by selling amp at 900$ a gram; just not immersive. It ruins the game honestly, unless if you like playing it this way then have fun, it's your game afterall not mine.
