PC vs PS4?

this is a tough decision then. my pc can run it very well but im so use to having physical copies. im thinking i should buy it for both.

This, though it's not forever, but you have a better chance of the PC version working with the next Windows, than you do the PS4 version working on the next console. There's also the added benefit you don't pay an additional fee to play multilayer.

It's actually the opposite. Online communitys shrink much quicker on consoles and especially ASW games like Guilty Gear Xrd Sign and Rev2 have a much larger PC player base compared to PSN because this genre screams for the fastest input latency. Guilty Gear on PC can be played online with less input delay than on PS4 offline. The difference is that huge with the correct setup (G-Sync instead of V-Sync)

I can imagine DBFZ having a much larger long lasting PC playerbase than the consoles just like it happened to the previous title GG Xrd Rev2.

I'm sure that before PS5 release Arcsys will release DBFZ2 or DBFZ3 so it wont matter that PS4 version will not run on PS5 because even BB fans seem to never complain about BB CT, BB CS not having them compatible with PS4 and unlike DBFZ BB:CT and BB:CS had very good story mode aabout potential longing for DBFZ mechanics when sequels will take its place.... I doubt it DBFZ is very simple (on edge of being shallow) so if DBFZ2 or more likely DBFZ3 (if you are thinking about time when you will be forced to move to PS5) will have even a little bit of depth in them you will be puking on DBFZ1 mechanic.

About much closer future.... According to my knowledge consoles are usually have better players bases and DBFZ PC has denuvo so I would mildly recommand PS4... but if you are interested in mods PC is the only right choice.

Aha if you want to play DBFZ1 again in DBFZ2-3 era and you wont have your PS4 anymore just wait for steam sale because DBFZ1 will cost 2-5 euro with -75%.

ps4 i guess there is a larger player base and The game will probably live longer on the console .... That always was the fate of fighting game so i guess this one wont be different

Leader boards have nothing to do with total player count. It is a subset of players who choose to play ranked. Moving on from that you have no statistical information about total player count on consoles let alone those still playing via a daily player count. Again, stop pulling numbers out of your butt.
