Where do you find logs?

I just started playing on the map "Bog" and I am not sure where to find logs at.

You can find them at Log Station and Log Kiosk.
At Log Station you can just park and automatically load logs.
At Log Kiosk you have to use Crane to manually load logs.

Hey,
I've just started playing. Where is the log Station and Log Kiosk? I can't find it on the map on Bog or Island... Is it at the garage or somewhere else obvious?

Have you explored the map and uncovered all the watch points? Then you should see them on the map.

Thanks Unster. I had to search for map controls and realised that you can move around with right click. There's tons of little controls that aren't covered in the tutorial - still learning!

Glad you discovered the issue. You can also zoom the map in and out and rotate it. I like to have it facing north.

On some maps there are also "Scavenge" areas where you can find 1 or several logs laying scattered around. Those are also good for delivery to the mills. They often vary in size and re-spawn once you've depleted an area. Perhaps with another size, or same.

The benefit of going for the "scavenge" areas might be the proximity to a mill or in a location that is easier to reach, saving fuel/time etc. They may also be very hard if that is by design. :)

That applies to mod maps. The maps that came with the game either have traditional log kiosks or scavenge sites but not both.
