Public Beta - Workshop Map Support

Hello all,

We'd like to announce a public beta for testing Workshop Map Support in Spintires: MudRunner!

This latest beta is available as a public branch, and can be accessed by doing the following:

1. Right Click Spintires: MudRunner in your Steam Library
2. Click Properties, and then Beta
3. Select public_beta from the drop-down menu

Once done, you will be entered into the public Workshop Map beta

To access the public Editor beta, you will need to subscribe to public_beta in the Editor Tool, as well. This can be accessed from your Tools folder in your library.

If you continue to encounter issues in this beta, please provide your logs (which can be found here: C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\SpinTires MudRunner, and uploaded to {LINKKI POISTETTU}WeTransfer and are generated by holding SHIFT while launching the game) and your list of mods.

Special note for modders: If you have edited the game files manually, the update will overwrite it and you may encounter performance and stability issues. Please make sure to clean/backup your files before the update.

If you encounter any issues with Workshop Map support, please let us know, your feedback here would be greatly appreciated!

@Iyagovos - How do we upload a map to the workshop? I've subscribed to the beta and tried to publish the map through the editor but I only get an error message saying '.stg is an unsupported extension'

Subscribe to the public_beta in editor properties too.

I tried that but it wasn't showing an option for it. Just tried again and there it was. Thanks!

So far I can publish the map to the workshop, it shows up in game under manage mods>installed mods, but it doesn't show up in the map selection screen.
