This game isn't exactly battlefield or COD where you can run and gun like you are used to.
I get killed like this at start too many times until i realized my approach was towards this game was bad, then i start utilizing covers, proper attachments and decided on what range im going to attack since my gun can't handle all three short,medium or long.

I usually play semi auto sniper and if get close 30m im dead or if i try to cross on field im dead too so i have to find spot wait for my team-mates to start fighting and then when chaos starts i can spot enemies and put them down. That's my role as sniper... if you are heavy let's say then you shouldn't rush too just stay put wait for battle find good spot where machinegun can be put to good use and start spraying on incomings... if you are normal soldier and have to attack use smokes, and good angles if you can't cross also you have voice chat so call your teammates around you to help you. It's easy when you know how.

I think the way the game plays encourages people to be reckless due to high run speed, etc., but it's a pretty tactical game. Leaning, prone, bleed mechanics, low TTK, all make it so you have to keep an eye on your angles and windows. The game feels like you should be running around blasting but the mechanics say otherwise.

Dont get me wrong , this game is the beste shooter of the last 3 years . It just has some minor minor hickups cuz it just released (Like some people habe reinforced helmets and we just dont know how to get em or the m4 Meta) BUT this game is just so much fun and the score system is perfect with rewarding supportive gameplay

Took me like 5 hours to get used to as well, coming from a game where I could get away with just charging in and being balls to the wall. I mean, you can still do it but only occasionally. Here it's pretty important to take cover and take the game slower.

i find staying near the team and being aggressive or trying to lone wolf flank yourself or with 1-2 buddies is the key to success.
if you play overly campy in this game, you'll just get overwhelmed/rekt.

(As far as my understanding) the tick rate of the server is showed in server browser, many are 60HZ and few 244HZ, right?
