Cannot get hands to grip Oculus Quest

Am I doing something wrong? Using quest and virtual desktop and steam. Game all boots and hands are visible but cannot grip to get out the door at the very beginning. The auto binding is set to Oculus touch and I cannot seem to change it.

Same problem for me (Did not try it again since). I don't really want to buy games on the oculus store if I can avoid to.

Same problem here. Found out that for some people it worked to switch the controllers from ingame to oculus rift controller type, but it had no affect on my game. Got the key to the game from my friend so I feel that I kinda wasted it since I cant play it...

I also got the humble bundle. Controls seem to work fine with me. I am using the Quest 2 via Virtual Desktop. No settings changed. Not sure what is different here.

Odd i'm doing exactly the same, Q2 through virtual desktop and the only control that work is popping out the cameras,,, but no grip

I am playing Espire 1 on two PCs via Virtual Desktop. One is having this issue and the other does not. On both PCs I start the game using the "Games" tab in Virtual Desktop. But there are some differences I recognized: When I start the game on the PC it works on Virtual Desktop does not start SteamVR. With the PC it does not work on I see Vive Wands instead of Oculus Touch Controllers in game.

Thanks for that feedback. I'll look into that direction (start it without steamvr triggering) this weekend... Not sure how to do that, but I'll try.

If you still can't get your controllers to work, open up the controller settings in the steamvr overlay and swap the controls to the very first preset. I can't remember the name of it, but it works perfectly.

Run the game from the VD games menu, it'll load the game up in Oculus mode where everything will work properly.

Not for me. Shows vive controllers.
