Game wont accept correct graphics settings

Everytime I change the graphics settings and hit accept, when I go back in it is saved as something I did not select. This happens whether custom is selected or not.

This is really frustrating. It worked the very first time, but then I played with the custome setting and it will not correctly save settings after that.

I fixed it. It had to do with it trying to put in weird redresh rates. At first it wouldn't let me change them, so I ignored it. Then it started puting in wonky rates everytime I changed the resolution. Eventualy I got it at the right resolution and refresh rate and it took.

Have you used Borderless Fullscreen?

I had the issue either that the graphic settings show weird values in Borderless Fullscreen.
However, don't trust the game settings, rather use your monitor status button to check which resolution and framerate is currently working.

When I press the status button on my remote, my monitor shows "3840x2160 / 60p HDMI UHD Color", while the game told me in Borderless Fullscreen that I had a resolution lower then FullHD and a refresh rate of 25.
But Borderless Fullscreen takes over the desktop values, so the monitor was right and you don't have to mind what the locked settings ingame tell.



Yet I use Exclusive Fullscreen, simply as I had weird mouse stutter in Borderless Fullscreen.
With Exclusive Fullscreen, I can set the resolution and FPS by hand to the desired values.
