Now Developing : Animal Husbandry
We will implement animal husbandry, a very important activity in the Neolithic culture. Domestic animals will come with migrants from the east of Europe.

You will have to breed and feed these animals so that they reproduce and you can obtain animal resources without having to go hunting.

Hello, does this update include the achieved "Companion Animals" promise?
Since they can be raised in the Neolithic, they can incorporate wild dogs as an aid in the family unit to hunt or repel threats in raids from other tribes.

All stretch goals are planned to be included after the release of the base game.

Do you plan to give leather a role in the future? my hunting tribe eats the meat and the leather is left over and rots

And please fix the bug where animals get through fences even though they are closed perfectly. IE you build a square and then add another to it, so they would make a rectangle. When you now remove the wall that seperates the two squares, animals will get through the exact point where the wall/fence/whatever was attached. Getting animals away from your fields is a pain in the leg. Especially with the few crops you get since the last update :(

Please check the cell mapping on the ground when placing walls, be sure you fill all the cell gaps.

The pelts are transformed to leather and then used for housing.

There are no gaps neither in the parts built, nor in the cells. If the last connecting parts of the seperating wall I mentioned be left standing, nothing comes through.

This is not planned for in the current update, and we have not checked whether it is in keeping with Neolithic culture.

Please keep up the good work I absolutely love the early prehistoric, and this is VERY realistic, the temples and prayers and everything, I think the incorporation of raiding will be cool,if so will our settlement be raided, or will we be the ones raiding, or maybe both?

I've played many city builders and I enjoy the timeline and the culture, attention to detail, and your game certainly has this.

Personally I've only managed to survive 3 years and then it all goes downhill 💀

Do you listen to some of Palewolfs prehistoric ambience music while playing Ancient cities? If not I highly recommend it :) as soon as I saw ancient cities it was in the basket and mine.

I hope and pray that the development continues and that you never give up with this idea, it's going great and it already feels complete, I can't wait for the release!!! 🗿🗿🗿🗿

For the base game only the possibility of raiding other settlements will be available.
