Tribe Leader
Each tribe has a person who leads the others. This person will be elected when the last leader resigns and will influence the tribe according to his attributes.

In this first approximation of the leader characteristic we will implement policies constraints based on the leader's attributes. The leader will change when the last leader dies and will be chosen based on his/her charisma.

What related features would you like to see included in the future?

I would very much like the option to play as the leader (or at least a toggleable shortcut or option in Settings to disable camera panning with WASD, and instead control the tribe leader movement with WASD or move commands, and camera will follow him; but otherwise play as usual). Therefore you will be able to do only things in your field of view, but not far away; you (the tribe leader) will need to go far away to do stuff there. Also a first person view (or very close third person view) would be awesome.

could the leader have a special residence, a larger or prettier house that somehow separates him from the rest of the tribe, to give the emphasis of leader

Well at some point the whole Martial vs. Diplomacy must play out. But we are much earlier in time than that. But those two ideas still existed. We don't even have warfare yet in the game. Maybe there's some traits that can help in those fields.

That is not how prehistoric migratory communities worked. We find no evidence of bigger houses/huts for certain persons.

I would like to (as the leader) allocate specific individuals in my tribe to specific groups so I can develop their skills ensuring greater capability in the tribe as a whole.

It would also be good as the leader to be able to allocate individuals to sleeping accommodations based on health, strength, skills etc. Therefore when we are at an early stage of the village, and the accommodation is minimal, we can maximise the strength and capability of the tribe.

Also noticed in the two games I've started with the new update there are just tons of pigs roaming everywhere. I don't know if that was just luck or what. Didn't see any goats, or else didn't notice them roaming about.

Perhaps some political rivalries? Even though a leader is chosen, not all will like it. Having political rivalries can lead to even civil war in any situation.

And perhaps towards the future, more political-style of governance. Not all tribes in ancient times chose their leader this way. Some were chosen through strength, combat and perhaps a rise to the first democracies? I would love to build Rome or Greece one day :D

Combat should be a check box in the configuration that can be checked if you don't want it. If politics in the game is also going to lead to significant random events in the game, it should have a check box as well.

I don't play these types of games for combat or random events that can drastically alter things. If anything other than my own stupidity can cause me to lose a game after I've spent hours in it, then I'm not playing. LOL

As an added option I think it might be a cool idea to have a leader born rather than always chosen by tribe alone.
A leader can be born with a specific trait that gives them the ability to be eligible for a leader position.
As the tribe grows, new children born with this trait can challenge the current leader when they turn a certain age, or smt smt that decides when this will happen.
Or take over the tribe when the leader dies.
Charisma can for example if more than 1 person has this trait, decide population support in taking over the leader position, the higher grade, the more tribe support they get, and hence the likeliness they will succeed in taking over leadership, increases.
If there is a tie for example, the player takes over the decision.
It might also be a really exciting idea to grant these traits the ability to allow tribe to build a specific building or Menhir or smt smt that can only be built when the person with this extra trait is the leader. There can be a lot of different secondary traits so not all leaders can do the same. This can also be a deciding factor where the player has the say by choosing which leaders secondary traits they want at that time for their tribe.
The secondary trait can also be that the tribe gets increased skill, fitness, strength, less clumsy, less hesitant etc etc etc, so when this specific leader dies there could be havoc in the tribe for a while till it all goes back to how it was before this specific leader was selected.

Maybe a little ambitious for the time being, but further down the line this might actually be really cool! :D
