Cheers
Yeah this is a bug, it will be fixed in the next release, thanks!
Would love to be able to sell stuff in the new area instead of going back to town.
I was able to solo my way through the raid, but when I got to the end nothing happened. Perhaps you need a party to activate those blue floor panels? I just ended up walking through the walls and fighting my way to the end. Cheers!
The mining coal issue is probably an LOD issue, I will make sure that is fixed in next week's patch. I was already thinking of adding a trader to the new city so I will add that into the next patch as well.
You should be able to enter the objective areas solo so that is a bug. Some more information on this raid bug would help me get it fixed in next weeks patch. Also where were you able to walk through a wall in the raid?
Thanks for the bug report!
Update: I was able to reproduce all of the bugs that you described and they should be fixed in next Tuesday's patch.
I was also having some issues with the journal the last time I played. It wasn't registering the iron I was mining and it would kind of open. Like the book would only open a few pages either way. It was still closed, but had a few pages open on the sides.
The spiders in the mine didn't appear to have any health bars either. Cheers.
Thanks for the bug report, I was out of town for a couple of days so I wasn't able to reset the servers until today but I will try to reproduce your issues and see if I can get them fixed by Tuesday's patch.
Update: All of these issues should be fixed in today's patch. If you are still having issues let me know and I will try to get them fixed as soon as possible! =)
I sent you a DM, I'm hoping this is related to the server performance issue we're having because I'm working on a fix for that right now so hopefully your problem will be resolved within a few hours. Thank you again for the bug report, I will post an update hopefully by the end of the day.
Update: Server patch was deployed today that should fix all of these issues. If you are still having issues let me know and I will work with you to get them resolved.
Can't get past it on Oculus during first time log in. Can see on the monitor it says hold both grips to pass this screen but I cannot get into the game.
It wont load the screen in the Rift when launching from Steam VR. Just says it is having difficulty loading and never loads. Yet on the PC screen I can see the EULA telling me to hold both grips which I have tried but it doesnt work.
EDIT: turns out this was my own fault I got a new lead and its working fine. Starter area is pretty good so far really enjoying it!
1. What were you doing when you encountered the bug? (controller buttons you pushed, ect.)
Dropping raw ore into the Smelting Machine.
2. Where in the world were you?
Trial area.
3. What headset were you using? (Oculus, Vive)
Occulus
4. Which country are you connecting from? (Are you using a VPN?)
UK
5. Which server were you connected to? (e.g. US-East, US-West, ect.)
US East
Issues:
Sometimes when dropping ore into the ingot mould I would miss the tray a little and the ore would disappear into the middle of 2 trays. Once I waited for ore to reset and come out of the tray and I collected it, it was difficult to target the ore that clipped under the tray to pick it up again.
I also notice if I lean my headset towards the machine it pushes me away from it when my virtual characters head would touch the machine. This made it difficult at times to reach into the Smelting device to retrieve ore.
Another issue that was somewhat similar was how difficult it can sometimes be to lift an item like ore, or a weapon off the ground if you accidentally miss when putting a tool back onto your belt or trying to put arrows in your sheath.
These didnt not actually cause me any problems playing however I felt it would be good to raise the issue with smelting in case other players were losing valuable pieces of ore when trying to smelt and not understanding that it was inside the smelter.
Thanks for the bug report! The tray issue sounds like a collision issue which should be easy to fix. The next update will have a mechanism where it will be easier to pick items up off of the ground. Right now if you point your hand at something on the ground your hand will make a pointing gesture. However right now you have to be pointing directly at the object so this makes picking up small objects off of the ground more difficult.
I will address these issues in the next patch, thanks again for the report! =)
We were having some backend issues, thanks for reporting the issue! The server should be running normally again.
