How is Marriage in this game?
I haven't played since the story stopped after building the bridge. Are any bachelors better than others for marriage or are they the same after? Any suggestions who is the best bachelor?

Some will give you a perk such as discount at their shop, increase stamina, increase crit, etc. Some give no bonus.

After marriage some will randomly give you a gift in the morning and some will help with the workshop work.

They did just put out a patch with more interactions and post marriage quests with your spouse, I have not had a chance to play my save when married to see what was added yet.

It will list all the available marriage candidates and you can check to see what bonuses they give and decide who you want.

Some marry for perks. I marry for story ... which means for ME the best are Mint and Gust .. and then Aadit for "other" reasons that are strictly story and not perks.

Same here. I don't care about the perks, I pick the one that I like. My main character is married to Ginger. My 2nd play through will be Dr Xu and my 3rd play through playing as the opposite sex will be marrying Nora.

Yes he is adorable and his relationship quests so far are sweet and romantic.

Maybe I should give Xu a chance then. I’ve been married to Arlo, Gust, Mint, Ginger and Phyllis. Gust give money on regular basis.

So does Mint, 10th of the month you get his paycheck. Also Ginger you get money as well from Gale with him telling you to use to take care of his daughter, he does this monthly.

Hmm was just going off the wiki page for him. That is the perk listed for him. I have not married him yet in any of my play thorughs.

Mint only had ONE perk but I love his backstory so he's a winner for me.

My neice loved Mint too from his backstory and bluish hair and being a engineer, that is what she is studying now, until she started talking to him. All he talks about is sleeping, falling asleep mid sentence to napping and cant be bothered to wake up when she talks to him lol. She gave up on him as a romantic partner. If he can't be bothered to act interested she talks to him then she will pass on him.
