They wanted the church disciples to be taoist naturalist in their religion (essentially having their current position against technology) so they changed the appearance of Nora and Lee to fit this idea. That's how Nora's clothing ended up getting transferred to Phyllis' character model.
Changing Nora is the reason Phyllis has her current character model.
Agreed that's what the modding community is for.
If you marry Nora,you can still see the older 'nun' version of her, as that is who is playing the piano at wedding.
I was kinda hoping your spoiler block was going to say: you can still see her older 'nun' version when you get naughty in bed.
