Save lost after update
Did today's 1,1GB patch just wipe my save? The resume-button is inactive, can only start a new game.

I really hope there is a way to get the save-file back!

Not only did I lose my saves, but the 5th slot and druid are NOT available after installing the DLC. The druid did show up after this morning's first update (the one that deleted the saves), but there was a subsequent update and after purchasing and installing the DLC, the druid has gone missing. Something is definitely wrong with the implementation of the DCL on Steam.

Hello, we had to do an emergency roll-back on the patch for the save game issue. This means that Qawasha's release is also on hold until we've isolated the problem.

Rest assured if you've purchased the Druid earlier when it was available, that it will be on your account as soon as we press the Live button on the patch again.

But now the game was patched again with the 1,1GB patch and the save game issue remains.

Yes, all is good now you can update without any worries. The problem was fixed.

For anyone whose game save was affected/ missing, please email us at support@talesfromcandlekeep.com and we'll manually assist you individually.

For anyone having issues with their game saves since the last update, here's a workaround:

Search for the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Tales from Candlekeep\Save

Take the SLOT_0.sav files (0,1, or 2 or whichever slot you want to recover) and do a backup somewhere on your PC.

Once you have backed those files up, launch the game and start a new game on the game slot you wish to recover (0,1, 2).

Once your new game has been created, close the game and move the old backed-up SLOT_0.sav file and replace it on top of the new one. Be sure to save.

I've tried the "work around" multiple times on multiple devices (Mac and Windows) to no avail. I've also emailed support with no response in almost a week. Not so sure it was worth the purchase since I absolutely cannot, no matter what, save a game or load saved data copied to avert the issue. No response from support was really disappointing.
