Graphic corruption problem.
Hi all.
When i play a game of rising tide the map is all transparent and i can see another copy of the map underneath.
Also the leaders screen is corrupted. Thick black lines all around and over the 3d character model.

Win 10, 980ti and all latest drivers.
Verify install does nothing to fix it.
Have yet to clear the cache but i have had this issue since install.

Clear cache did nothing. Tried verify files once more. Did nothing.

Same issue except it applies to the base game as well. Tried the above remedies to no avail. Windows 10 and an AMD Radeon R9 200 Series. Not sure what to do, but presumably if the thread gets more popular there's a greater chance of help.

Edit: I also notice it's not ending the task when I leave the game.

Switching from everything maxed to the medium settings option fixed it for me.
So one or more of the graphic options is the culprit.
I hope they patch this soon.
Edit: the leader screen corruption is still there..

I have a graphics problem myself, giant jagged "mountains" are coming out of most tiles on the map. The game treats them normally, and it didn't do this before the expansion. Is is just the hardware? This is a very new Macbook Air, comes with I believe an HD 6000 graphics card.

Check your nvidia control panel if you have the integrated graphics turned on. The game might not be using the nvidia all the time or at all. If you set the control panel to always use the nvidia GPU for the game, stuff might go better.

I do not have integrated graphics. I am running a Intel i7 5820k on the 2011-3 socket. And they do not come with integrated graphic.

Verified cache and it fixed it.

play with nvidia settings for the programm, only this fixed graphics corruption for me, dont remember which one, was quite a hazzle to find the responsible setting.
(not a preformance related problem)
(perhaps it was shader cache, now set to off)

Having spoken to Aspyr today it seems there's an Intel HD 6000 compatability issue which needs a fix.

Have (had) this bug too. Refunded instantly, considering the last time I gave this game a chance it was still full of bugs. They just can't seem to get it right. This game deserves every bit of the hate it gets.

I'm having the same issue. Did they give you an idea of when that fix would happen?

I do get this as well.

In addition, after enough terrain is revealed from FOW in a game, whenever I move around the map, about half of the just moved-to tiles' textures show black squares, then get loaded from bottom to top. But when I leave the area and move back there later, they again start black to a major extend and refresh again.

I made sure the game ain't using the Intel Graphics but the Nvidia dedicated card
I tried lowering ALL of the ingame graphic settings (each by each as well as all at the same time) - no effect.
I tried setting of the shader cache in the NVidia controlpanel - no effect.
I cleared game cache several times - no effect.

All this was after a fresh install.

Anyone who can help?

Win 10 / 16gb sys ram / i7 3770k / GTX670 with 2Gig dedicated ram / Yes, I DO have up to date drivers ;)
