How to repair weapons/tools?

I found an iron axe and after several trees, it's turnning yellow. I have several iron bars, animal hides, leather, leather straps, thread, fabric, etc, but it keeps saying "not enough resources". How do i repair this thing and my other tools?

I think it needs iron, wood sticks, and leather strips

i have wood and nearly 100 sticks. Must need a ♥♥♥♥ ton of iron.

usually 1 bar is enough but there is a bug since last patch that seem to prevent the repair of "special" weapons found.... I have the same with a "purple" sword

can it not be done from the inventory? do i need to use a workbench, furnace or other workstation that i don't know about?

Sometimes your inventory is bugged. It'll show nothing, but it was fixed. Usually happened to me when I was downloading another game and had high ping.

Just keep refreshing the inventory step by step.

I also try to repair my Damn Decorative motive axe but nothing works i have steel bars, iron bars.leather strips and wood branches and still says NOT ENOUGH RESSOURCES
