What was up with people last night?

By far my worst DD night since I started again. Being kicked from games the second I join. people trying content way above what they can do then getting frustrated and quitting, and so on.

The only reason I'm bringing this up is because there is a influx of new players due to the Summer Sale. I don't want them to think this is how most people on DD roll.

For the new players don't get discouraged about stuff like this, just keep looking or start your own game.

For the vets, don't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥y. If you don't want people in your games don't make them public. If you have some sort of reason for not wanting someone there tell them before swinging the boot. People can be surprisingly understanding, I know I was when someone actually told me why last night.

I know what you mean, I get kicked endlessly from almost everyone's game, if I'm on a level 1, 20 or my level 100, I get kicked by everyone, it's quite frustrating so I just play DD Solo, unless someone asks for help.

Bighead, if you see Nova or Copey hosting a game, feel free to join. I don't host anymore because of the rude mentality of most players who joined my lobby.

I decided to host last night and run some gliterhelm for all the newer folks I've seen on the forums.and see who might pop in, not a single person. Though now that I think about it I probably should have lowered the min join level......opps.

Yeah it was bad last night. I've never seen it like that. The only time I didn't mind was that one time the person told me why. That's when I decided to start trying to clear nightmare on my own. Got to and almost cleared the labs using just my Adept and monk auras.

hmm... best thing to happen is getting kicked after building the map for some 1 :3 though only happened to me once in my long dd career ^^

Totally went into a "host afk" map last night thinking it'd been built already just needed to be guarded and maintained......wrong!

Dude was just sitting there like, "can you build for me?" I just left but so badly wanted to say that even if I could handle the map on my own i'm not going to play the game for him while he AFKs.

I don't mind going into a map that's already built and keeping it going, that gives me time to study their ideas, strats, and see if things work.

We have? I don't remember seeing your name in game. Then again I've seen people in game I've tried to find out here and failed horribly. I guess my amazing skills at fixing computers doesn't extend to managing friends in games lol.

Not that I've seen, this was the first time. I've spent the better part of the last week getting back into the game and have found folks to be very nice and helpful for the most part.

That's why I made this post, so folks like you who just got it would see it isn't the norm. You'll find folks like me, Vee Too, Pew Pew Pew, Digy, and a few others who are very willing to spread knowledge if you're willing to learn and not just be power leveled.

One thing I'd say right now is go read Pew Pew Pew's Nightmare clearing guide. You may not be doing that anytime soon but it helped me shape my characters in a way that works for me.

I got the game from the steam sale and noticed the community is almost just like the XBox community was right now... rude and always kicked you... at least here there are not mods in every game considering ranked is modderated lol. I expected it to be a little more like other PC game communities where everyone is just trying to help eachother out, However me and a buddy have had to kick quite a few new people who decide to AFK or just start completely messing up our map by selling towers / replacing sections.. At least we tell them why before we boot them swiftly!

I completely understand how you feel, the community doesn't tend to like helping eachother; it's a shame really, but if you ever need help, I don't mind. As long as I don't randomly get kicked like what 90% of games I encounter are like.

I help a lot of people (when asked now), Nova helped me a lot too aswell as Copey and the famous pew, when you ask help here, there is always some vet player willing to help out if you need help.

The newer players, maybe they will change their ways?

Sorry Bighead, that comment was meant for Asas, I was on my phone and your reply wasnt there when I posted that, came home and saw it then, We have never played together, would have no objection if we did play together, I farm alot mostly, Akatiti is what I do most and when I have someone that I can rely on I do WW as well but not to much, coal is overrated and if u go to the original forums and see what is being payed for a ult++ clava, no need for that but for making diamonds, it is cool
