I've never heard of such thing. I've been playing ganes that use VAC servers since 2007 and I never had a problem with them.
What do you even mean by "Internet adapters"?
Internet adapters for VirtualBox and the like. They cause a "Failed to create game" message when you try to create a game, public or private. It's a known issue with Dungeon Defenders.
I'm not running the game in a virtual machine. The drivers for VirtualBox's Internet adapters mess with the game, so I always have to disable them before playing. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that.
I use a VPN application that also installs virtual internet adapters (and drivers too), but it never really affected any VAC game I played. I can also disable these adapters at any time I want and only use actual physical adapters, can't you do the same?
I just disable them before starting the game and everything works fine. I was just curious if other games had the same quirk.
There was no issue in connecting to VAC secured servers/lobbies etc.
This issue I've only seen with DD. Possibly due to some engine(UnReal Engine 3) limitations. Dunno for sure though.
