Game Schedule

I've made a thing that will display in the main menu information about scheduled multiplayer games, install required mods for you and then connect to a server.

Impressive job, really impressive.

Several things, that I couldn't catch while watching the video.

1. The "config files" - do server owners need to send them to you (meaning that there's a fixed location where Fwatch looks for PHP scripts), or can these be located on game server (meaning that Fwatch somehow detects them)?

2. Does Fwatch need to be installed (and active) on game server too, or just on client PCs?

3. Mod download feature (that's what I'm actually most interested in, sorry :P ) - how does it work? Does it detect discrepancies between server and client files like OFP Watch, or is it more basic implementation, where only modfolder names are compared?

1. It's a website script so it must be a website location.
2. Just client
3. Modfolder names. I said in the video that I'm not sure how to handle updates yet.

Having a chance to test it out, I gotta say it's a damn impressive job. You really thought it all out, every single detail and possible point of failure. And if someone can read and use 7zip, installation is pretty straightforward.

Here's hoping Game Schedule and it's features will get more popular!

I'm really satisfied. Finally i don't have to search for mods, addons and other things which are they needed. BIS should pay you for that.

What can I say, FWatch is a very convenient solution, especially for modded servers. Too bad we got that functionality so late

We needed this possibility back then, but it's good that we have it now. Faguss makes the good old OFP fit for the future. It is important that the OFP community has someone like Faguss. He constantly thinks about making the game even better and more comfortable. He thinks like we do: OFP will never die!

After initial starting difficulties it worked very well.

If anybody got some problems, check the Firewall, by BullGuard FIrewall blocked the host "ofp-faguss.com with IP 188.68.240.143".

After i added the host to trusted websites it was no problem.

The next troubble was the insufficient Admin rights for the "addonInstaller.exe".

Under the "exe" Settings (right click on exe file), then the tab "Security" and there add your current user or edit the persmission to "full control".

At the "Compatibility" tab click on "Change settings for all users" and there check the checkbox "Run this program as an administrator"

Don't forgett to save!
