this was easily the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ experience of my life

One of those games where even the thumbnail screams pure quality; just look at it and you know what you're in for: This masterpiece must've taken forever to finish and I'm not talking about the game that looks like being thrown together within 10 minutes. I don't even wanna know which drugs led to the creation of this abomination. The biggest challenge with this was to get 5 minutes of playtime so I can write a review as it won't even launch on my pc. This would be running on the Blender Game Engine (if it did) which is itself pretty uncommon and such a weird decision for these types of games with Unity being a thing.

If there's one thing that I've learned from this developer, it's that I should stay away from drugs.

Much like the first LSDRiver. Number 2 is nearly the same, but better. Again, it's a challenging runner game with trippy visuals. You need to time your boosts right to succeed.

It's like the original.
But somehow worse.

Let's start with the fact the game has more content. Where LSDriver only has 3 levels and is 64MB, since LSDriver 2 is about 4 to 5 times bigger, I'm going to guess it has around 12 to 15 levels. So the amount of content itself barely justifies it's $2 price tag. And somehow, the game looks worse than the original. The game is made in Blender, like almost every single one of this guy's games. Knowing how texturing, modeling, and to an extent, bones works, I can tell you that I can probably make assets better than the ones found here. With the textures, it looks like they just slapped a texture on it and didn't map it out properly. I can tell this by how the front face of a model will look okay, but the rest will look stretched, distorted, and pretty much shredded. And to top it all off, the textures are really low quality, and some don't even seem to be original, with textures looking like they were pulled off of the internet, as seen by this weird [as] poster in the 4th level, "Mad Scuba Dive". And while we're still on the topic of graphics, the models look ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrid. Punk Duck seems to be an amalgamation composed of spherical shapes and weird abstract parts.
Now let's go onto the gameplay. Which is similar to the original: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. And this time around, unlike the physics in the original where they were so awful it was funny, the comedic effect has been lost, by the fact that your character is really floaty, you still get stuck in walls, and it is overall annoying to play. Then there's the addition of changing the size of the wheels. The dev probably did this as a lazy attempt to try and stop having the player get stuck in walls, and while it sort of does, I've still had many times where I still get stuck in walls, which is why I think they should've probably had a max cap for speed. Then there's the barely-competent level design, which just looks like they shoved a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ into place and called it a level. You know it's ♥♥♥♥ when there are times where you can't avoid dying because every game needs to have a chance to allow you to escape or avoid death when you're going along, especially with a side-scrolling motocross game like this.

The soundtrack is ♥♥♥♥, the songs vary in audio quality, which leads me to believe they were stolen.
The physics suck.
The co-op mode sucks.
The controls are average, but are also pretty generic. But there's also the fact that two people can't play on keyboards or controllers, player one can't use a controller, and player two can't use a keyboard.


This game is ass.

Where to start...after reading the controls in the menu the game seemed much better. The song, although catchy, seemed repetative but it was not too bad. I could not get past the first loop with my buddy steven. Not bad for $ 1.33 but i think a burger could have been better even if i had to split it. I hope the game gets better because it is hard to land although it makes the game challenging.
