If you want genreal info check the grimoire wiki :
While I do have a small section detailing some of the faster ways to get out of early game, calling it a walkthrough isn't entirely accurate either. It's more of an infodump, or more specificially just Maps and Notes on the maps, as labelled. Anyone looking for walkthrough guidance isn't likely to get much out of it unless they know exactly what they are looking for. If folks are looking for a walthrough, at least for early game, I would recommend Dexter's "Grimoire Walkthrough and Beginner Guide" instead.
Darkhain, I assume you are a contributer of the Grimoire Wiki? If so, do you think you could fix the monster info there? Even with the notice I put up I still get private inquiries about "when I am going to update the wiki". I don't care about the plagiarism, but when the monster information was copied it wasn't complete (and some of it still isn't), had spelling errors and missing words, etc. That and the next patch will probably be changing what the enemies are susceptible to. You folks are welcome to any information in my guide as you please, but I would really appreciate it if it was cleaned up. Thanks for your time.
Yes I'm a contributor to the wiki (not only one), and everyone can edit the wiki, you just need to register.
I'm not sure what you want to edit in the monster page.
Ah, sorry, I didn't mean to imply I thought you were disrespecting me in some way. Just wanted to clarify that it really isn't a walkthrough and if it was, it would be a very poor one considering how it is set up! I have had a few consfused folks complain to me about it, because they thought it was supposed to be a nice step by step walkthrough. Haha.
I'm not really interested in registering for more websites as I can barely keep up with the sites I contribute to as it is. The monster info is filled with my old spelling errors and isn't complete. While it might seem strange to trash my own typing, the information is really half assed. There is also a concern (possibly only from me, but I like accuracy) that susceptibilities will change with the next patch. It would be nice if someone who is registered with the site could clean it up. I would even be willing to make a master list when I find the time that could be more easily copied if that would help.
One of the definitions of guide in Merriam-Webster is something that provides a person with guiding information.
I'd say that this definitely qualifies as a guide.
As for your question, what do you mean by Keeper Key? Is that the name of the item? There is a Keeper's Key, but since the only way of knowing the name of that key is to find it (at least that I know of), it should already be in your inventory. If that is the one you are referring to LOOK at one of the beds in Bestiary Underground for it.
If that is not the right Key can you explain your circumstance a little more so it would be easier to figure out exactly what you are looking for? Once again, making a new thread with a title that matches your needs would get results from more people.
Speaking of being closer to the finish line, a while back you asked about renaming the guide to more accurately reflect the contents. If you are a creative type and can come up with a simple name that matches you are welcome to it. Otherwise I will go with the boring but accurate "Grimoire(or Hyperborea) Maps and Notes".
Hyperborea Maps and Notes is good...it's not really clever, but it's quick and straight to the point.
Done. Doesn't need to be clever as long as it makes sense, but that's obviously something that an uncreative type like myself would say. Haha.
I've been told this by several people, so you are definately not alone!
This game is pretty huge and also a niche-of-a-niche genre. Writing up guides take a lot of time, Summer is over, and the game has been out for a while now, so I'm not surprised the flow of shared information has died down.
