Bought key from cdkeys.com - activated over VPN - got German Edition

Bought a code from cdkeys-com (No indication the game code would be German), activated the game with a VPN that ends in Lithuania and got the GERMAN EDITION in my Steam library. To say I'm p**sed is an understatement.

No indication yet since I can only preload if this is going to try and install itself in German language as well present me with the restricted game, just to add insult to injury.

Have raised a support ticket request with cdkeys-com, no idea how it will pan out. Buyer beware.

** UPDATE: Got a replacement code from cdkeys-com for the unrestricted version about 36 hours after raising my original ticket. Click the [Download] link in the original invoice email, not the one from the support agent that usually gets sent on release day and you should see a new code (eventually) **

Me too. I pre-ordered it two days ago. Not only is it the German edition it also doesn't have the dlcs as shown on their store page

dont use VPN. that is against ToS. if you turn yourself into Valve i doubt you will get much help

The most they will offer is to unbind/remove the game from your account

Same here - wonder whether cdkeys only have the German version as they can't sell them!

On their website they don't mention anywhere that they are selling the german version, so i think it is only normal that they deliver the people the regular version of the game or at least give them their money back. I didn't use any VPN and also received a key from cdkeys.com for the German version of the game. I am from Holland so i can't see any reason why i would receive the German version of the game.

Please send a steam support ticket! If we can apply pressure, we'll have the chance to make them change things and excluse Austria and Switzerland from the infamous 'German edition'

I've had no problems with CDKeys before, but if they don't correct this before release then I'm never using them again. Lesson learned.

Got a code from the same place, Im in Canada, activated normally (without VPN or anything), and I got the German version. I asked them for a refund. I hope that works, if not, I'll go through paypal.

Ok, so cdkeys[dot]com is at fault here. Damn it! The sole reason I've bought it at that place is exactly to recieve the uncensored version! What a mess!
