How to pull up throwable anchor?

I can't figure it out. I place an anchor, then throw it, my raft stops, next I want to pull it up but the only option the game shows me is "remove" and if I choose that, the anchor disappears and I have to craft a new one.

Sadly you can't pull up the throwable anchor. You have to craft a new one each time until you can craft a stationary anchor.

I just started this game yesterday, but from what I gather, if it is the anchor that looks like a bucket, it can be used only once.
