My Wish also.
The game must include a time factor. But not a real time challange, instead of, a time factor which advances when certain actions performed. For example, when we inspect a part, time must advance 5, 10 or 15 minutes according to parts location, size etc. When i remove a part, time must advance 1 hour or 2 hours or maybe only 5 min. again according to parts location and size. Plus removal and inspecting experince may shorten this determined time. Test bench, test drive, visiting barns and junkyard may advance time too.
After 8-10 hours according to advancing time i explain above, day must end.
Different customers may ask their cars to be given back in different time period. Some may want in a day and some may want within one week. Even others may want for example not before two weeks. And if car reparing finishes, car must wait in garage.
When we order a part, again, a certain time must pass until it is delivered to us. Some ordinary parts may be delivered in a couple hours, like rubbers. but some others may be delivered three weeks later etc. engine block. And if that customer wants his car within 5 days and we agreed that, then this means we have a problem. Every hour/day we delivered the car late back, money must drop we'll earn. Even we may lose money. Of course an urguent order option may be added as well. With x2 or x3 price increase.
So time management will be an important aspect of the game and the game will be funnier and of course harder.
I don't know these features may be added to the game or not, but it is ok if you add similar challenging features next new games. Thank you all for reading.
Ideally have it pop up telling you the total cost of all the items and asking for confirmation when you press it.
Junkyard improvement: Almost every junkyard today has an inventorylist to know what they have laying around. It would be nice to have one just like that in game. It's tedeious to walk around the junkyard (esp. on a low tech computer) and search every pile if you want some particular spareparts.
If there where to be an computer or reception where one could browse the complete stock of the junkyard that would be nice, of course if you would like the barn map you would have to look throu the piles of scrap since that should'nt be in a inventory.
Price question on v10 pushrods $345 for 1 instead of like $30?
And I have a Swedish translation for the complete game if that is something of interest?
is there any chance to bundled this game in 2019?
like in the fanatical or indie gala or humble byndle
Maybe you could put a mechanism to buy Cars in the Game, like in the Intro: An Online market to buy cars, then drive to the Barn or Junkyard or whereever and take it from there... with the option to buy more cars if there are more and parts, or let them deliver to the garage from an outside company with extra costs.
Second, would be interesting to have some big Random Events in the Game like big Car Shows with Price Money and different Categorys like Hot Rod, Rat Rod, Oldtimer, Speedfreak etc. pp.
There could be some Kind of a Mail System in the PC, that gives you some kind of Quest that says for example, when this special events are and asks if you like to paticipate there.
Naturaly you need to spend some Money for a place there and then you need to make the Best Car Ever to have a chance.
There also could be some random rules like: It have to be a Junkyard / Barn find, only a Car of a Special Company or so.
I think that would make the game way more interesting.
And at the end, if the player maybe is the winner, a random "rich" Guy or Woman comes and like to buy your car or have an interesting joboffer to the player as a bonus or so.
Well, thats all for now.
And that's my point. This is not a racing game and never will be, driving was added as an afterthought and has never been a high priority. It's called CMS 2018 because that's what it is - a "mechanic simulation". The steering and driving physics in this game were always an issue, although it's now manageable with the latest updates. It's still light years behind for driving technology, let alone online competition.
What you want is a completely different game. Although I'd like to see the driving physics and steering improved further, I'm glad it is not a racing game. I used to play NFS (almost all versions although I preferred the older versions like Pro Street) and my preferred driving game was always Gran Turismo. It's a shame they've basically vanished but I hope Red Dot never takes this game in that direction. :)
Hi
Thought i would throw in few things totally agree with David and im happy community is thinking outside the box but please understand the following
Unity engine has limits
Driving is only in the game to have some fun
Please keep in mind 1.6 will hopefully bring better controls
Online or Co-op is known as highly requested item and the more complex it is the harder or less likely chance of having it added will be.
But with that said keep up the suggestions everyone Dev's do read this from time to time i tag any idea's that stand out or are simple to add.
