You hope there is no VOD to the SW direction and tech up to ballistas, then you slowly drain those VODs after a wave hits, where you have enough time for it.

Zombies also attack the closest target, so you can kite the amassed zombies in front of your ballistas, so they don't produce additional noise for banging on your walls which will results in a zombie cascade.

After your destroyed both vods you will have such a ressource influx which will help you expand fast.

expand south west "if theres no vod" and slowly expand turtle up RUSH balista build rougly 4-6 balistas total and then slowly drain the vods once you kill em off by day 15 you get a MASSIVE econ boost then you snowball the rest of the game and win gg ez

Wall + patrol + forget them + expand southwest. Then concentrate on one vod at time.
Annoying but doable.

Wall + Ballistas. Enough Ballistas, alongside some loud units like soldiers, and you can actually bleed the villages of their zoms slowly, and loot the resources. I find 3-4 Ballistas, plus a small group of about 4 Soldiers and 6-8 Snipers enough to clear out a village (with enough walls, of course) If it has a City Hall, you may need a couple more Ballistas, and more like 12-20 Snipers, depending on how kind the natural terrain is in creating funnels.

Before getting Ballistas researched, a wall and a Ranger or two (depending on how wide your wall ends up being) is fine just for keeping the slow guys and occasional runner away.

use 1 sniper and then 3 balistas thats all you need for 1 vod "since theres 2 make that 2 snipers and 6 balistas" 3 balistas will handle anything the vod throws more at you "even on nightmare" so anything more than 3 is overkill

A little tip for set-up ballistas: try to build them where their range dont reach the vod buildings but is really close. When they shoot at the zombies the splash damage of the arrow will hit the building and pour out some zombies but they will not attack since they are not in the "awarness" area. I find that very usefull when i have to lure them out without allerting other vod buildings and my forces/defence are limited and busy in other zones.

Of course if you have the resources just kill them, but in some rare situations I find that ballista placement really usefull.

Or you can just reroll and not deal with that, it takes less than 1 min.

Specially that map is not difficult to deal with, and that is the game, enjoying managing difficult situation, easy way is boring.

Regards.

IMO, there should be a system involved that punishes rerolling and save scumming (the latter might be difficult). Yes, you can have bad rolls and good rolls. IMO, you should live up to it and tackle every roll.

I disagree, i doubt everyone wants to spend 30 minutes playing a game they fell they have already lost to avoid the game giving a middle finger for not playing with the RNG.

Or it would not work cause people to still reroling by let then self get over run

Why should we?

Since the truth is the truth regardless of who said it. That map least what we can see so far is not difficult. If anything its a good map the amount of "free" resources from the vods is quite high. My best map 2 to date had 4 vods at the distance they are in that screen with mabye half the buildable room. Ended up being nearly 10 days ahead in the early game due to the vods. Had foundry up by 16 when norm takes till 25-27 Once you handle the first vod you end up far ahead able to snowball down the other ones with ease leaving a nice large housing bay (in my case was a bay big enough for 2 and a half bays to fit in it so put all 3 there). In his case big enough for at least one. Hell the one i'm comparing it to I had no grass land about the same amount of trees and water thou.

He even has a change to go one way without having to deal with vods (assuming no vod is there) while ballistas clear the other two so dosent lose much time killing them while still getting the same resources for a massive snowball.

Vods are not difficulty they are a bonus the map gives you. Just like finding a shock tower or something else to sell just far better but takes a small bit of work to claim.

My question was not related to this map, it was a general one...

My point stands.

The truth is the truth regardless of who said it.

In this case it was the map in all other cases so long as he is speaking the truth yes you should listen when its said regardless who said it. Esp when facts back up the statement.
