I notice you can get advanced structures for every resource except wood production?
advanced mill
advanced quarry
why not advanced woodmill??

i usually have +200 wood by day 30 anyway who needs it?

on a serius note the devs are PROBABLY adding that building when the game releases "aka they hinted at it" not 100% but it might be added

also 2 things

1-dont use advanced buildings in general they suck as they cost way too much to be cost efficient so even if there was a advanced sawmill i would probably not use it

2- try to avoid posting stuff thats already been posted we just had like 2 posts about this in the past week

Hello,

Dev team thinks that an advance sawmill is not really necesary. Anyway, in campaign mode you will be able to learn a technology that help you to increase your wood production.

Personally I think an advanced sawmills would be a nice addition, since power plants take lumber to fuel, advanced sawmills would mean you'd have to build less sawmills

not really? IF there were a advanced sawmill then one can assume it would follow the same formula as the advanced buildings we have now

aka it produces 2x the wood for like 4x the cost so basically nobody would build them cause

1- by day 30 your swimming in wood anyway to where the only thing wood concerns you is power plants and even then basic mills are just better than power plants

2- it would actually hurt your economy more than help cause it would cost like 700 ish to build + whatever the maintnance cost is

now not to say that some alternative wood source could not exist "Maybe depends what the devs think" but a advanced sawmill would literally be the definition of "Useless" just like advanced mills

Well it's the same prob as all advanced production buildings.

They should be cheaper. You only use them 1 out of 20 games (when map is VERY specific and you are desperate). Exception is ofc adv farms on map 4. Devs dont need to make adv production so cheap that you should build them every game, but right now it is a waste of invested dev time for nice models/art.

If used in 1 out of 3-4 games that would make more sense. Yes, can remain only worth it if pressed for space, but right now advanced prod buildings are (STILL!) just a noob trap. They serve no purpose.

Exactly this advanced buildings cost roughly 10 times the price of the basic before tech cost when converted all to gold. While costing 140 percent more upkeep only give 100 percent more resources. In other words it’s always better to just place another basic even if it’s in half as good of spot.

Mills are even worse costing if I remember of hand 8 times converted to gold than a basic mill but for only 50 percent more power but for 600 percent increase upkeep so making 6 basic mills is cheaper but better than a single adv.

Adv buildings should be double upkeep double production and only have the high placement cost. The placement cost alone is enough to make them not always uses but good once you get them down. Will still be a little to payback there setup cost but far more justifyable.
