Potato + Tomato in Cauldron doesn't work

Hi everyone, I keep trying to drop the tomato and potato at the same time in the cauldron (i put them in a bowl then dump it into the cauldron) but no eye of newt comes out. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance :)

its working for me. I put both in a square bowl and just throw the bowl in, and an eye of newt shoots out.

I even had it working by putting 3 potatoes and 3 tomatoes in the bowl in the cauldron at once and it yielded 3 eye of newts.

so try using square bowl and chucking the bowl in containing potato and tomato, see if that works.

Same. I hilariously got a knife ejected at me at one point from just trying stuff.

Had you unlocked the recipes? Maybe that has something to do with it?

Yeah, I think so. I dunno why they have the prices so freakin high. :(

Using Halloween not Halloween 2020, sandbox mode (boo), and using the casserole dish to dump them in has been working for me. Make sure to check the recipe to see how much of each thing you will need because that is a ton of potatoes and tomatoes.

i think you should put it on the side so the cauldron top is NOT looking at the ceiling

So it works in sandbox mode, but not career mode.
