BUT... about playing with a controller.. I can't use the game's cel very well.. In fact I have to get up from my couch and use the mouse...

Okay, maybe I can find someone elsewhere to answer my questions. "the dlc is awesome" isn't really bursting with explanations.
In this mode you can earn regular money (buying tools ingredients and other stuff), BakePoints (used for unlocking new tools, forms, decorations and recipies) and PerkPoints (obviously for perks, same as main game ones). You can't remodel your kitchen, but there's still some sort of progression, you don't have everything unlocked from very begginig :) Also, this DLC have much more creativity freedom than base game, so that's making this DLC pretty cool in my opinion.
Go to Loose Ingredients Dispenser and press E to select the brown Sugar.
Start filling with left mouse button.
