"So and so is immune to such and such due to difficulty settings"
My log is being spammed with messages like this since today's patch. Octavia's physical enhancement - dex? Immune. Blur and fast healing on a hydra? Immune.

What's the easiest way to get things back to the way they were pre-patch? I don't want to mess around with a whole bunch of spells and such suddenly not working.

In addition to this my characters don't regain their spells upon resting.... kinda makes the game a little more awkward to play.
Edit* I am going through the dungeon mode and it is a lot harder without any spells. Buuut, you do get to see exactly what monsters are in the floor as they are immune to their auras.
I did submit a bug report to help the guys at owlcat but it does mean I cannot play today!

I appreciate their efforts to keep patching the game, but this is annoying. The game was working just fine. And now it's not.

Yup, I literally can't play. I am hunting the last achievement, and I can't progress through the roguelike without energy/poison protections.

Are you playing with mods?

Hello! Are you using any mods in your game?
MattyDMZ May 20 @ 10:33am
No. I am not and have never used any mods with this game.

Not that I had changed them to begin with, but I looked at the difficulty settings and don't see anything that seems like it would fix this issue. There's nothing there about persistent effects except the option to get rid of conditions after rest (which I have and have had turned off).

Update: it seems like maybe things *do* work normally, they just say that they don't in the message box. I tried Bless and looked at my attack rolls, and the +1 for bless says it's being applied, for example.

I saw messages like this a LOT this morning, in terms of enemies and the buffs they were starting the combat with. Despite the "immune" message, they were still effected by those buffs.
It is very annoying watching it scroll constantly with invalid information though.

I have a bug where Amiri is immune to fatigue, but my other party members cannot remove fatigue when resting. It wasn't like this yesterday.

Yeah, all resting appears to do is heal characters and raise pets. You don't get abilities or spells back, or remove conditions.
I'm getting spells and abilities back on rest in my game just fine. But I am getting all the "immune" messages.
It's not mods, the same messages are coming whether mods are enabled or not. I suppose this is what happens when your whole team is QCing WoTR but decides to push out an update to PKM.

We have been able to reproduce the issue and are looking into it. A fix should come soon.

Constant messages about "AAA is immune to X due to difficulty settings"
I was playing on Normal, then I tried to turn the "only active companions gain XP". I changed back after a while, when i realized I was gaining too much XP already and I'd like the spare companions to contribute on their quests. However, I now get these messages constantly, and the log is flooded with them so much that I cant follow the important messages anymore.
It seems that this only happens on permanent toggle effects like Power Attack, Rage and Bewildering Injury, but it has happened in a communal Delay Poison (only 3 companions were "immune"). The messages are nonsensical since when I check the rolls, all the modifiers are active. How the hell do I fix this?

Also why cant I get any reaction from the Fake Stag Lord? No matter what optioin I choose nothing happens, not even [Attack], despite the dialogue playing out how you'd expect
