Send your main tank front, and your two other melee guys to the sides.
Keep your ranged characters in skirmish style, meaning don't leave a straigth line to them from one of your melee chars.
Thanks to both of you.
That's basically what I did. Buffed up Valerie, had the cleric within heal range to one side, Linzi in the back, Jubilost opposite Tristian, and then Amiri plus my rogue main char off on the far left flank to attack from basically the side/back.
Problem was the breath weapon basically obliterated Valerie.
Other question is, what level is this encounter for? While all the yard trash in the zone outside was easy, this guy seems to give me the idea that I may need to come back at a higher level.
I was able to defeat him at around level, hmm, 10? I believe it was 1 or 2 levels below 10 on normal difficulty (not "Normal difficulty" just normal enemies, criticals, etc, so slightly above "Normal difficulty"). I used a similar strategy of spreading my party out and using Protection from Elements because my MC is a sorcerer, and I became immune to fire.
Just don't forget to bring a cold iron weapon, I had to kill him twice, wasn't that hard, because I didn't bring one.
