Would invade Dacia for her again.

The art is 'acquired taste' (or at least 'tolerated') with time, but the plot, characters, and (failed) meta-gaming her life is more than amusing - especially how it's always misinterpreted and/or backfires.

Only irk is the glossing over some of the nuances with Being-X and the effects of the Type-95. Still, rest of the novels for a few more seasons, please.

Tell me, how the guys in Japan always make such good stories with use of our twisted history? This was great dose of military porn, mixed with contemporary fantasy and injected directly into my brain. Great story, great setting, and evil main character who'd be loved or hated, based on your tendencies for war/pacifism. And of course, philosophers will find there food for thought as well. Hoping for season two!

All I have ever wanted is an anime about a ♥♥♥♥ loli who kills republicas and prays to God.

Please, if you are ever going to watch anything without spoiling it by reading reviews this is it.

Just watch it. Don't read anything more about it. It is so worth it.

Imagine someone made a version of Harry Potter that was actually interesting.

The residents of Hogwarts wouldn't last 30 seconds against Tanya... and their deaths wouldn't be pleasant. Yet, Tonya is so different you will find yourself rooting for her... even as she teaches Harry how to combine flying and a bayonet the proper way.... Someone who might be a villain, but never sees herself that way, and if you are honest with yourself... you won't either.

Best new Anime I have seen in a long long time, and I am very very old.

Also, I swear to God if I hear another person say "Oh she must loli Hitler this is WW2" I'm gonna scream.
The uniforms are turn of the century, the planes are still made of wood and canvas, infantry tactics are still "charge at the trenches lmao", the Empire is pretty clearly Prussia if you actually look at the flag or the pickelhaubes people are wearing, and semi-auto rifles are completely new and turn of the century designs.
They also mention is the first world war multiple times.

Superb.
Simply superb.
Great story, great characters.
And of course cute, psychotic, adorable combat loli.
