UPDATE: Beta Patch updated to v3.2 - 06 March 2019
UPDATE

Hi Yakuza fans,

Just a quick note to this thread to let you know we've updated the Beta branch again to v3.2, adding the following fixes:

• Fixed an issue where mouse sensitivity was not applied correctly to high DPI mice.
• Fixed an issue where the game can crash when retrying fights if Windows user name contains non-ANSII characters.

Beta branch opt-in details are the same:

Branch: community_test_branch
Password: DragonOfDojima

Thanks,
SEGA Dev

Hi Yakuza fans,

We’ve got another patch to address some issues we’ve seen mentioned in this forum. We’re releasing in beta first. As always, beta patches are opt-in only; if you are not experiencing any issues with Yakuza 0, we recommend not downloading this patch.

For those who wish to download the patch, your feedback is always greatly appreciated. Please remember to post your system specs when posting issues; it helps our trouble-shooters tremendously.

To access the beta patch, please enter the password below in the BETAS tab in Properties in Yakuza 0 in your Steam library.

Branch: community_test_branch
Password: DragonOfDojima

• Fixed an issue related to shaders and shadow rendering affecting lighting/skin tone (most noticeable during cut scene at the end of chapter 6)
• Fixed an issue where certain particle effects were not being displayed (most noticeable when using certain weapons like the cannon)
• Improved ultrawide display support
• Added FOV slider in advanced graphics menu
• Added border artwork displayed during areas with locked aspect ratio when played in non-16:9 display modes
• Added Background audio slider in audio menu
• Added UI toggle in settings menu
• Added target monitor output selection option for multi monitor setups in advanced graphics menu
• Added support for QWERTZ and AZERTY keyboard layouts
• Fixed an issue where disconnecting a controller during conversation could cause a soft lock
• Fixed an issue where mouse cursor would be confined within application window while in menus
• Fixed an issue which could cause a crash when playing the fishing mini game
• Fixed an issue where the game could crash if the installation folder path includes a dot
• Improved behaviour of camera control when using a mouse to use raw mouse input
• Improved mouse scroll wheel behaviour
• Improved Alt+Tab behaviour

Thanks,
SEGA Dev

• Fixed the issue where the UI toggle comes back on after pressing any button.
• Fixed the missing weapon effect issue.

Very nice

The lighting issue in the Chapter 6 final cutscene is fixed, it looks very nice now. Also, improved LOD in Maharaja is a nice touch too, thought this was never gonna be fixed. Best part of this patch though: Denuvo removed!

That being said... mouse sensitivity is still pretty messy, somehow even worse than before. Even when cranking in-game sensitivity to max, camera control still feels clunky and even stops midway. This needs more fine-tuning.

It's a beta patch so they won't update the store page till it's live on public. But you can check the exe file of the game, the size went from a whopping 220MB to 20MB. That, plus near-instant game start-up without any waiting time is a definite sign of Denuvo removal.

Based on the patch notes this hasn't been fixed, but is there any chance to have something done to the constant crashes during daylight while in Sotenbori for people using AMD graphics cards (or is it just RX400 series?) If nothing else works then an option in the menu to just force night time constantly would be enough to get rid of the issue.
