June 24th update has fixed stutter problem finally!
Now I get to finally actually play this game after years.

Bought a PS4 pro for it in November 2016, pro was released the same month.

The frametime problems and models constantly going fuzzy to sharp quality hurt my eyes so never bothered even going past hammerhead.

Got the steam version in March 2019 and I have accumulated 32 hours on it just from trying to get it to run without the stutters, (also never went past hammerhead, just did all my fix attempts with the plan to progress if I fix it).

Hopefully this patch fixes it for everyone.

Really?
For me, yeah.

I can't guarantee it'll fix everyone's stutter but my testing has been perfect so far.

If it was going to stutter on my rig, it would've normally stuttered many times by now.

But not even one yet.

By chance I was testing the game yesterday, and the stutter was still there.

So definitely todays update that fixed it for me.

Sweet. Lookin forward to trying this out.
same, i was having small fps drop spikes for a while now. I can't wait to test if the game goes smooth for me
It does not stutter anymore even when I use the overwhelm technique or any other techniques. It was pretty bad before.
Can anyone confirm if Turfworks still leaks memory or not

Are you using Kaldaien's Special K mod too? I was still getting stutter after the update, then I installed it and made the first two render threads normal priority and disable mouse and keyboard input and it significantly reduced all stutter.

Wow I did not know they were still supporting this game. Very cool because the stutter was a huge bummer.

This is not them keep supporting the game, it's them ending support for it. Removing online capabilities means exactly this.

Yeah, the last real update was back in December 2018. The stutter has been a thing since August 2018. The fact that it took them almost two years to fix stutter. That's really bad and makes me think twice about buying Japanese SE games.

Still, I'm glad it is fixed finally fixed but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I am not waiting for the ports of FF7R or KH3. Just getting them on consoles. SE are useless in supporting Japanese ports.

Which stuttering issue? The SteamAPI stuttering? Or general stuttering issues? Or effect stutters?

Funny, in my case it rather got worse. No idea why the games keeps having so big issues. Can it be that this is linked to DRM protection?
is this confirmed ?? can anyone test it out ??

More than a month on and yes the game is still running perfect for me.

All stutters whether it be the steam api, effects or general stutters have been fixed by the update.

I'm on nvidia driver 446.14 using a 2080ti.

The patching didn't fix anything for me.

What did was setting the game as an exception in Windows Defender and my antivirus program.
