Repent, Denuvo will be in full force
SO close on making this game perfect for consumers but at the last couple of days denuvo has been added.

There is a light of hope. The DEMO of FFXV doesn't have denuvo, people are going to see if it can replace the other .exe and remove DRM that way.

The version of denuvo it is using is already cracked.

Want to stay up to date on all the latest games that have Denuvo in them?

I've updated both GFWL and Wikipedia.

It certainly throws a lot into question. I think someone, years ago, made the incorrect assumption that ZDPP automatically meant SSA, just because ZDPP relies on an Internet connection to decrypt the files. It is a newbie mistake to make, as at the end of the day ZDPP is a separate solution that doesn't rely on SSA at all.

Also, funnily enough I could also validate that http://zdp.gamesforwindows.com/ is still online and kicking, responding with proper decryption codes for ZDPP titles.
Do you mean https://zdp.gamesforwindows.com/? I tried the link you posted and it doesn't connect, but it does connect fine as https. At least Microsoft did something right here.

The server could eventually cause an increase in minimum Windows version for affected games, as Microsoft and Akamai will certainly sunset older TLS versions; they have already removed SSLv3 and TLSv1.0 will be deemed obsolete this year.

Yeah, it's using HTTPS. The full address to retrieve the decryption codes for Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition is https://zdp.gamesforwindows.com/Zdp/Zdp.svc/GameZdpData/%7B28745B5B-F5EE-4CA5-B144-F3EC5901A0A6%7D/3/5/8/0 , where {28745B5B-F5EE-4CA5-B144-F3EC5901A0A6} is the Game ID as defined in the ZDP configuration of the game.

When GFWL went down, I lost access to Fable 3's DLCs, as in I already had them in my game, downloaded, but they required a connection with GFWL service in order to actually use them, and that service no longer exists.

You didn't even know that FF XII was out and now you simply assume that FF XV won't have Denuvo only because you seem to believe so and because it has not been said yet? Yeah, real accurate information you got there, seeing that you aren't even updated with game releases on Steam. It will have Denuvo just as FF XII did. Stop making bull s*it posts just to show how clueless you are. Its a waste of everyone's time.

What's your evidence that it will have Denuvo, or are you just talking out of your♥♥♥♥♥ And no, FFXII is not evidence of another game having Denuvo.

What AAA games lately haven't had Denuvo? All of the them have it and this game, being a high budget game and also, full new gen game its obvious it will have Denuvo. Even FF XII has it and all that game is just a remaster of an old game.

I just don't see how Square-Enix would make this game almost a day-one crack without Denuvo.

So nothing? Okay then.

Yeah, I was and am affected by that as well. A lot of multiplayer and DLC related services stopped working properly when the GFWL Marketplace was shut down back in 2013/2014

It's believed that it won't have Denuvo because it wouldn't follow Square Enix's regular behavior. They're really good about listing Denuvo either on the store page or in the EULA well in advance of a game's release, and they never put Denuvo in games that they develop, only ones that they publish; FFXII is the single exception. It's obvious that we won't know for certain until the game comes out. Stop being hostile.

Nothing from Activision uses Denuvo, including Destiny 2. Ninja Theory wants to use the stupid term Indie-AAA so I guess we can add Hellblade to that list. SE's Secret of Mana remake didn't use it. Its not on Dirt Rally. Metal Gear Survive does not use it. Fortnite and PUBG do not use it.
Another one is Kingdom Come Deliverance. No DRM. It sold a million copies in less than 2 weeks with half a million copies sold just on PC alone. Speaking of which, I'll have to buy that game next month.

No, nothing server related was shut down, All that was shut down was the marketplace and it had nothing to do with the PC.

Fortnight is a F2P game, MGS survive requires an always on internet connection so Denuvo is useless. Dirt Rally is like 3 years old. Hardly recent.

That is not entirely correct, people lost access to the DLCs, even if they already had them downloaded.

It even is talked about here
"As a result of the transition from Microsoft Games for Windows Marketplace to Xbox for Windows, which no longer has backwards compatibility for Games for Windows Live, any games created online are no longer accessible and players can no longer download, or access, any Downloadable Content. No official announcement was made by Lionhead Studios, and following their closure in March 2016, this issue is unlikely to be addressed by Microsoft."
http://fable.wikia.com/wiki/Fable_III_Downloadable_Content

Market Place servers were required to play the DLC's, the Market Place servers were the DRM for the DLCs.

When GFWL stuff changed, I lost all access to my bought DLCs, even though I already had them downloaded.
