Seriously, I would expect more from DLC. But I suppose they would cost too much. Ha well, I'm not a player that fit withe the Paradox DLC, well bought the few of Tyranny, but it's more the exception than the rule.
Can't wait..
In dreamland I would request for Christmas more DLC like:
- Reinforce a lot the events and unique pilots including with a player option of no random pilots only a bunch of unique. Have events linked, and even some missions related to pilots. This could be done though more than one DLC, each adding more unique pilots and events, and a sum adding the extra player option of only unique pilots.
- Challenge missions adding pool of random missions that request specific mech categories (Light/Medium and so on). Could be done with a few DLC.
- A second campaign that would be shorter but more restrictive and a rush. Argo is stolen but a team escape with the small ship and then campaign starts with a restricted load of mech plus few mech at choice of player among those owned and and eventually restricted by category. At end, the team get back the Argo and all the precious mech.
EDIT: How I forgot, more skills/classes, seriously it's short and I wonder if the Gut specialization is worth of anything, it looks so pointless I suppose I'll have force myself to try it.
I'd imagine pdxcon, missed the first part so idk.
Paid DLC - maybe depending on price and content
A free update might include a sub-quest story arc though or events; but I wouldn't expect a whole new campaign from it.
Well, no, not a FULL campaign, of course. Just something to keep people interested and immersed until more in-depth content is made.
With so much lore behind BattleTech, this game needs a lot more content and it needs it FAST.
This is why I continually harp on about the fact that people should be able to have the ability to make custom campaigns (what we used to call "modules", back in the day), similar to what one can do with StarCraft and StarCraft II.
Nopes, but not every Paradox game is Crusader Kings 2 ;)
Asides a new campaign is a huge amount of content - cinemantics, scripted story, map changes, etc....
Like I said a few subquests built into the existing campaign would be neat for free ,but it would be the most I'd expect. For more serious content updates I'd expect (and be happy to) pay
