The only people "subscribes to capitalism" are a tiny percentage of the population that is ultra wealthy and the ignorant, deluded fools who think of themselves as temporarily inconvenienced millionaires. Everyone else just puts up with it because that's the world they happened to be born into. If you don't earn enough money off of capital income to live off of, you can not, by the very definition of the word, be a capitalist. It's that simple.

Oh that's definitely true, absolutely. American liberalism is a very conservative ideology. They hide behind "liberal v conservative" when it's really not the case at all. And the country falls for it time and again. Biden is worse than Trump almost every single metric one could care to measure a president by. Neolibs in the US aren't as dangerous as neofacists necessarily, but that doesn't mean they aren't a massive part of the problem.
