Great pacing, hilarious narration and the map is big and enjoyable enough for you to explore!

This game is cool, flashy and at times very fun... but it is a 1 trick pony and short even at that. I squeezed the life out of it. I 100%'ed the game with the exception of doing the time trials, and even still I have less than 16 hours on this game - this includes the DLC. A big portion of that could be attributed to just creating mindless carnage until I got bored. I do enjoy the fact that they went beyond just "be a shark" to become something far more dangerous and cool. The game does a good job at really making your feel like an Alpha Predator... but it doesn't really challenge you and there is only so much you can do while limited to the ocean. This game doesn't feel lack luster due to lack of trying... where I think it fails is that... the concept for the game is really 1 dimensional. While the devs did a good job stretching that dimension as far as it could take them... you can only do so much with a concept that has so much limitations. While the progression is enjoyable and turning your shark into a bada$$ killing machine is awesome, once you have killed something once, there is very little fun in doing it again. I applaud the dev's efforts in pulling a half decent game together with such a superficial concept... but that doesn't give me enough here to recommend it.
