Im not saying they are hard to kill i deal with horse with a arming sword, but when the horse get poked by a severe hit it should get staggered a little bit, and not keep moving like a train thru everything like nothing happen.

And im pretty sure if the dev red a suggestion like that they would implement it in the game , i wouldnt be surprised down the line there a modification like that added in the game.

A counter feature in some weapons would be nice like planting spears or polearms into the ground to catch it.

Since everyone in this thread is acting like a brain damaged baby let me spell it out. Horses aren't hard to use, and to counter them you have to rely on the opponent making a mistake. They fundamentally bypass the mechanics of the game to allow people an easy win. Then you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ morons say "Just look behind you lol." This isn't possible in any sort of team fight, as anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together will attack you the instant you turn your back. Not to mention that with multiple weapons if you parry the horseman's attack you still take damage and get knocked down for a couple seconds. Maybe instead of just blindly defending horses you actually analyse the actual mechanics of how horses work and understand how they break and bypass the other well developed mechanics.

Reminds me of people who cry about Battlefield games having tanks and planes. What did you expect. Having horses is one key selling point, and improvement over Chivalry. Making those animations and physics has been lot of work

Horses have no place in this game. They are just annoying battlefield power pick-ups that allow even most retarded braindead noob to rack up kills with zero effort. Not to mention how broken they are when it comes to their movement and lack of stopping when hit by polearm.
