ROADMAP - [updated 06/17/24]
The Blade & Sorcery has been completed and 1.0 has been reached, guys!

The major focus is now on bugfixing, stabilizing the release and getting an updated SDK rolled out to modders.

---

Update 1.0
(RELEASED! 06/17/24)
- Crystal hunt mode (progression mode)
- Dalgarian dungeon
- Buying weapons and armors (shop)
- Skills tree
- Dungeon loot
- Lore
- New weapons (low and high tiers)
- New armours
- Final polishing and balancing
- Surprise feature(s)

Available now in Nomad beta
- Scripted modding on Android platforms (Quest 2, Quest 3)

Maybe / Maybe not - Just ideas for now
Update: We are now feature locked (for real this time!) and are focusing 100% on completing the very overloaded amount of planned features we still have left to complete. That means sadly we cannot add any more scope creep or else the update will never arrive!

- Two handed weapon support for NPC
- New player character customization options
- Facial expressions

Will look into after 1.0
- PSVR2 release
- DLC(s) and/or major extension(s)

Update: It seems increasingly unlikely we could work on a major expansion for B&S. As you may have noticed, our current situation using ThunderRoad 1 (B&S game framework) is that our update development times are increasing. After 5 years of early access, and with so much evolution in the team (from solo to full team!), we realized that the framework is majorly slowing us down and is not well suited for collaborative work.

As such, Warpfrog intends to move onto our new framework, ThunderRoad 2, for our next project. The new framework is MUCH faster, scalable, and more specifically, easier to use for both devs, artists, and modders. Our iteration time on the new framework is nothing like on B&S, so the good news is that any new project may come sooner than you expect!

If we ever did want to return to the B&S universe in the future, maybe we would opt for a full-blown sequel instead on TR2 instead of fiddling with TR1 again. No plans as of now though, so we will see!
