Still doesn't work
Bought this game on Steam and have never been able to get it to work. Just comes up with a long ♥♥♥ error

i used to play it fine, getting error now, gonna figure out how to fix it then...

if you get the 'pins are not connected' error, it's a video codec issue

i went into my 32bit ffdshow settings & disabled WMV/VC1 decoding, now chime works again & my 64bit MPCHC player is untouched

It worked, then it stopped working and nothing seemed to fix it.

Only thing that solved the problem was building a new rig.

I'm getting an error now: something about microsoft xna framework, which I repaired and it's still not working. If I hit esc, it closes the whole thing right away... if I select continue I get this error: attempted to read or write protected memory... It never used to give me this problem...

re instal'd derectx fix packages and Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 redistrbutable new files.

I tried reinstalling everything...The only thing that worked was adding a -novideo launch option. Apparently there's some problem with playing these minor video effects in the background. :bandit:

I had problems getting chime to work but managed to fix it.

there are some fixes listed here:

(the "-novideo" fix worked for me)

Also if you are using windows 8 try installing the XNA 4.0 Refresh version:

LOL like this is the person I'd take the time to help solve a problem... your a tool... take your pc and drive it off a cliff.
