Framedrops after newest update while OBS is recording

Title. Specs are:

i7 7700k @stock

Zotac GTX 1070 Mini OCed

1x 8GB DDR4 2400MHz @2133MHz, mobo doesn't support full speed

MSI B150M Pro-D

Max GPU usage while recording: 92%

Max GPU temp: 72C

Max CPU usage while recording: 84%

Max CPU temp: 90C (It's high, but no thermal throttling was present)

Max RAM usage - 5316MB/8000MB

Game is installed on my game drive, a WD Blue 3TB with 1.5TB for videos, 1.5TB for games. I also have an SSD inside of my system, which Windows is installed on.

OBS settings:

Recording format - mp4
Encoder - NVENC H.264
Base resolution - 1920x1080
Output resolution - 1920x1080
Downscale filter - Bicubic
FPS - 60
Rate control - CBR
Bitrate - 50000
Keyframe interval - 0
Preset - Default
Profile - Main
Level - Auto
Use Two-Pass encoding is on
GPU - 0
B-Frames - 2

So far I have 85 songs installed (if that even matters)

Also, I've noticed hitreg has gotten slightly worse with this new update, though that might have something to do with the terrible FPS in-game with OBS recording. I should also note, I get (somewhat) low FPS with Overwatch, 110FPS out of the expected 230FPS.

Edit - I should also point out that the recent update fixed the low FPS I got when I cut blocks, but now it is OBS.

Are you still getting FPS issues? My game was smooth 90fps, until I got the mod and started downloading songs...It fluctuates between 90fps and 60... it starts off fine, then if the song gets crazy ( a lot of cubes ) it will bounce.. 90-67-85-58-75 .. etc. I liked this game because it was music and beats and BUTTERY SMOOTH! I can't stand the choppiness...

I have a gtx 1080ti at 1.97ghz, 16gb (4-4) ram, and an i7-4790k at 4.5 ghz.

my temps are low. CPU around 55c and gpu 63c. i'm going to tinker later and figure something out.

Use -vrmode vive or -vrmode oculus in launch options. Worth a shot. Cheers.

Just saying -vrmode vive isn't a thing the reason for -vrmode oculus is so steam VR doesn't start and the game runs directly to your occulus headset without steam vr which can have a major performance increase for people. it's basically like you bought it on the oculus store also it doesn't work in all game. It does work in Beat Saber that being said.

If anything, I'm getting worse FPS. Without OBS running. CPU usage seems to hover around 70%, while GPU hovers around 50%.
