Custom Soundtracks suck!

So I just downloaded the custom soundtrack mod and installed a bunch of songs and so far I am very disappointed. Most of them are really terrible, poorly made and boring to play, many of them are not even on the beat and others are hard just for the sake of being hard and therefore very boring to play. The only songs I have found so far that was fun to play is Rasputin, Gundam style and Beat it. I am not looking for hard songs, I'm looking for creative songs that flow with the song and gets me into that awesome flow state and makes me want to dance while I play.

If u have suggestions of songs that fit this description or some awesome author that makes fun creative songs that really flows with the music I would be very grateful. I don't need to be challenged, that's not the reason I play beat saber so expert and expert+ only songs are of no interest to me.

Dr.Disrespect Gillette is a very good custom song for those who like good flow and dancing instead of trying how fast they swing arms. PS. i own this game in oculus, so it is not showing in my steam games.

M83 - Midnight City
and
Neon Indian - Polish Girl

- are two that I keep coming back to. I'm really no Beat Saber ninja - I can just about manage the base-game songs on Hard, but can't really touch Expert yet.

Polish Girl comes in Hard and Expert, and I find Hard is just about right for me. Very satisfying flow... complex, considered, but not hyperactive.

Midnight City comes in Normal, Hard, Expert and Expert+... I can't remember off the top of my head which mode is the one I've been playing on, but it's an absolute joy to play - really nice one to relax to between harder tracks.

It's incredibly hard.
However, it is on beat perfectly and not hard just for the sake of being hard. Each note is fair.

are all songs that makes you dance, it has great flow, but its not 100 percent on beats, but that doesnt matter much since its good

I don't get the songs with :"expert +", that's not a difficulty in the game and was just made by tryhards trying to act like they're better than everyone else at the game.

You have to look hard, but there are a lot of great and in sync custom beat maps to play. I will be happy though when the next set of official releases for songs come out.

I completely agree, a lot of the songs just seem to be a barrage of blocks for the sake of being difficult, though every once in a while theres a song with some creative flow to it. The most entertaining one for me somehow, was Shia Lebouf by Rob Cantour. It had a few motions that fit the lyrics of the song that I thought were very clever. Taking notes from this thread tho

There are actually som really amazing tracks out there but they are hard to find. hopefully we will get some kind of rating system soon so the good ones climb to the top and the bad ones

Agree more. Some map isn't properly made. Nothing related to difficulty but just feel werid when you slash it.
In the beatsaver, find the top download, most of them are good. Other, you just need to search then.

Rasputin from Bonny M is the most fun and best custom song out there. The blocks are perfect sync with the song and you "dance" like the real song. I have alot of fun with it.
