Steam Servers are Too Busy
I purchased Portal 2 last Saturday, and I'm very excited to play it. However, whenever I try to launch it, a dialog box pops open saying "The Steam servers are too busy to handle your request for Portal 2. Error code (2)". I've tried everything that I've found almost anywhere on the Steam forums and Steam support pages (as well as some other places), and none of it seems to help. I was wondering if any of you had some advice.
DISCLAIMER: I am trying to run Portal 2 on Linux under WINE, but I don't believe it's WINE causing the problem because of three things:
1) Portal 2 under Steam has a Platinum rating on the WINE app database: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=12988
2) The error message seems to indicate some trouble with the Steam servers, not my client
3) The dialog box comes from Steam, not as a WINE alert.
I would appreciate any help you have for me.

On my initial launch try and second try, I got the same error window with error code (3). I tried a few minutes later after browsing through the forums looking for a similar problem, having made no changes, and it finished it's Steam connected install and launched.

So, try again later?
No, no, no... I purchased this on the 22nd of December, and I still can't get online as of now (1st of January).
