I know Valve NEVER make a trylogy of a game but , yeah , there a Portal 3 coming , send me friend request and i will explain u why cuz its too long in a discussion..
the meeting rooms where plans to get rid of Black Mesa, if you sit around and wait, in one of the last few slides, it talks about GLaDOS, and olso their expected and actual finacial outcomes agest black mesa.

Except the Black Mesa meeting rooms... Cave Jonhson talk about Black Mesa in Portal 2 and in the end of portal 1 GlaDos sing '' Still Alive '' and say '' maybe Black-Mesa ''

I just suspect but we never know if '' PORTAL 3 '' dont exist..!

I expect when the sequels are finally released there'll continue to be references to each other but no proper crossovers. they're distinctly different games and while some are fans of both series there are many gamers who are only interested in one or the other and a crossover would risk only appealing to a portion of the fans who are fans of both games

I think that if a new Portal is made it will be about Rat Man because Chell escaped in Portal 3.As for Half-Life 3 I kind of hope they get a new main character becasue Gordon is kind of boring in my opinion. Then again he does get shot/hit/blown up and never drops his glasses so maybe he has super powers or something.

I think that Chell and Gordon won't meet at all, they'll switch locations. As Gordon goes deep into the bowels of the Borealis,(and possibly hears the pre-recorded messages of Cave Johnson) Chell joins in fighting with the resistance against the combine using what she learned from Aperture.

I know this thread is 6 months old but.. What does Dead Rising 3 have anything to do with Valve?

Gordon Freeman will never meet Chell because he was dead 49,900 years before she came out of stasis.

It's hard to tell if that is really the time period between Portal 1 & Portal 2. I doubt the Personality Cores could keep the place up and running that long while GLaDos was out for the count.

It would be hard to combine the two games. Half-Life is a horror game while Portal is dark humor. They have two different tones.

Actually its not because in the official Portal audiobook it is said there is a period of about 50,000 years between portal 1 and 2.

Indeed. And that is solid evidence. But it's just not realistically possible, even by the made up reality in the game, for things to be in the state they are after 50,000 years. 50,000 years is a very long time. I think the 50,000 years is what they want the time span to be. I'm not familiar enough with Valve to know if they stick to their story or alter the stories between game. So far, in my experience, they stay consistent. It's just very hard for me to accept that time span given the state of Aperture Science. But it is what it is.

Chell was the only person kept under power during those years, and since the backup power was meant for a much bigger community, it lasted far longer then expected.
