Is sub 8:30 still possible?

I've loved this game since I first got it and recently decided to come back to it and get all the achievements.

I'm almost there minus "One with the blade" and "Put the dev to shame."

Based on what I've read the speedrun achievement requires you to not only be on point but to have godly RNG but I also got the impression that it was attained mostly pre-orbling nerf.

So my question is before I pull my hair out for 10000 hours trying to stream this achievement... Is it still possible?

From what i've saw, many people getting it didn't even used orblings, but rather went for melee build. (Especially the Trapetohedron seems to be involved in many runs.)

Godly RNG? Yes. OP orblings? Nope.

I was wondering this today because I saw the last patch nerfed stuff, except I also just got it today (8:24). Just in case this helps someone, the key to the run seemed to be ivory + amber + scythe (for the range, damage and extra lifesteal). Started with ivory/rifle/hammer/shortsword. I spent 65 total at the blacksmith. Got to Limbo in 7:30.

Barely got any stats up, definitely no Trapezohedron. Probably found another lifesteal item. Orblings and ranged attacks saved maybe a few seconds.
