Survival mode gone?

So I played survival mode before, liked it, didn't play it as much as I should have, my game backlog is too big. But I only play solo, so I got a mod that made it so the stores in survival had trait books for sale that weren't all co-op exclusive such as teamwork, revival, and the other one, I forget which. I hated how it penalized me for soloing survival so I figured I'd at least try the mod.

Well boom, ever since putting it in my content/~mods folder, survival is GONE from my game menu. I deleted it, still gone. reverified the files, STILL gone... the heck? Anyone with modding experience have advice? or if it wasn't mod related? I'd appreciate any help offered.

Got an idea of what the problem is. I can't even resume my campaign since it says I lack the DLC, which I do not. But my brother does, we have family sharing. But even when I try to play on my own account and not his it seems to use my brother's 'permission' and decides I don't have the dlc.
