Displace is really disappointing....
Had grand ideas for setting up multiple takedowns from afar...but displace has such a limited range it almost negates the point of farsight imo. Plus you should be able to blink from any position to where the image is.....as is it's clearly the weakest transportation ability of the three.

Are there no bonecharms to extend the reach of it?
Are you done with your playthrough? I'm on mission 2 and i agree with the reach. Just don't use foresight becasue it feels extremly cheap to me.

The point of foresight to me is to setup a displace manuever...but since you can only leave one marker (without bonecharms, assuming there are ones that boost displace) it pretty much kills my dreams for a more hands on domino approach with displace.

There is a charm that removes the image, pretty much turning it into Blink.

How do you use it non leathally?
I went for leathal this time around and love the kills with it directly.

Foresight + Displace is the best combo. It can get you through a lot of obstacle that blink and far reach can't like a locked room that don't have key. You can get through a wall of light without disable it too.

It really helpful for me because I love play through this game without knock out anyone.

This ability has its pros and cons compared to other abilities. It may have shorter reach, but 1) you can place its mark using foresight, which means you have extra time to chose where teleport to; 2) using foresight you might place mark in way you couldn't do with common targeting (thus giving you possibility to teleport through some obstacles); 3) you can teleport to mark without actually looking at it, e.g. backwards. All this features grant additional tactical depth to its usage.

Again, if it would have blink reach and perserve all its features, it would be just superior to blink.

How do you get through a wall of light with it ? Doesn't work for me. I tried to put the foresight mark behind the wall of light but as I would go through it I get zapped, even if someone is next to the wall and the lights turn green on it.

I got bone charms that let you set up 2 displace markers (highly useful since you can set up with foresight and rapidly move through an area without getting detected) and another one that leaves behind a decoy when you displace.

One more thing I've noticed is that combination of foresight+displacement allows you to perform kind of tricky teleports.

In case of blink and far reach, you need to clearly see spot you want to get to. Which limits positions, where you can use skill to reach spot. With displace, you only need a glimpse of mark in your vision. This helped me numerous times so far, in situations, where while trying to pick right spot with blink or far reach, I would be spotted by guards.

Displace is probably the best movement skill out of all. The bonecharms you find let you alter it in lots of unique ways. I'm really digging the quick tap blink set up right now. Having the ability to telefrag into ppl, have them explode, then get the next guy is super fun. You can clear areas like a sick stealth assassin.

I haven't been able to use a marker placed with Foresight, even though I've placed it I can't then USE it. I don't really understand why not. :/

Hmmm the bonecharms sound good...supoose I just need to get used to it..still think they should let us choose which classic powers to use on ng+.

1) You can't move to mark if it is to far. It's range is comparable to blink or so. 2) There should be no solid obstacles between you and mark; glass, grates and other not really solid objects don't count (or, to say, you need to be in position, where you can see mark at least partially).
With the bonecharms this is the best move skill, as Foresight makes it way more sophisticated than the others and the charms turn it into blink with more functionality.

Play with it for a while and you will most likely come to like it.
