Original Microsoft Zoo Tycoon 2 game? Full screen doesn't work?

Why are the old classic Microsoft Zoo Tycoon 2 games not on Steam by now?

And does anyone know how to get the old game expanded into full screen when using a widescreen monitor without bars down each side at 1920x1080 res?

I still love the old games and we have been playing them again in anticipation of Planet Zoo but its a shame they dont work with widescreen monitors properly. And they really should be on Steam. They are still good games with loads of content.

i think its because none of the expansions for Zoo Tyccon 2 will work with windows 10. I still have all the Zoo tycoon boxed series, but cant play the expansions on my computer :(

There is a way if you can follow the directions and edit files in your computer.
